The fake topper!

If you follow the Indian news closely, you might be aware of the political science topper who nailed her final exams but wrote a one-line essay when a re-exam was scheduled after much speculation regarding the credibility of her result. Though we all know how miserably she failed, both her test and our trust, she raised several questions for the rest of us.
Is topping a test this easy when it comes to states like Bihar?

Is the education system being taken for granted to pass people who don't deserve to be?
Is it the worst form of corruption or does something else outcompetes it?

We don't wish to conclude the entire episode by tagging Bihar as a corrupt state or a state producing dumb people, but the entire episode surely raises questions regarding the credibility of the education system in the country, on the very ground level.
Consider the Vyapam scam which could never be uncovered till date, or consider the scene unfolding in front of us right now, these are nothing more than signs that raise various questions in every mind, questions that need answers, sooner or later.
